View Full Version : Ability to set post count to a minus figure

Is there any way to do this?
I've just returned to my forums after 3 days of being really ill (still not feeling great) and have had problems with a member spamming to be able to access things that have a minimum post count, for example multiple posting.. 15 posts in a row!

By way of saying "Thankyou", I wanted to set their post count to -1000, but it wouldn't let me and just sets the count at 0.. I want it to be -1000..! :devious:

Any ideas..?

wood it be poss in the user tabel of phpmyadmin or wood that screw it up ?

wood it be poss in the user tabel of phpmyadmin or wood that screw it up ? It would more than likely screw up since the vB rejected a negative post count by default.. I didn't want to try it anyway put it that way.. :p

Just running the last 2 database queries (out of 3) on those instructions were enough to make things work :)
