Hi, I am new to VB and I am looking to really customize my board. So I just have a few questions...
BTW - I already purchased VB
1. How do you add 'quick' reply? like on webdesignforums.net sitepointforums.com ?
2. I need a spellchecker and in my admin panel under 'Settings' I have a spellcheck heading:
Spell Check Language
The language used for the spell checking features, provided by Spellchecker.net. If you do not want to use these features, you should remove them from the template.
Does this mean I have Spellchecker.net installed?
3. How do I get Neat countdown images in signatures (man do I feel like a noob....:p)
4. One more thing I saw this thing once where it displayed Who has been online in the last 24 hours (like at www.theladiescafe.com message boards) any info about how I might do that?
Thanks, all answers would be greatly appreciated :)

1. Install the "Quick Reply Hack" that's around here - there's several so choose wisely. I know of one being a "hack" and one being a template modification - but do a search and you should find it. Unless you have vB3 installed, then just turn on the QRB in the admin control panel.
2. I don't know.
3. I don't know what you mean.
4. I believe you're referring to a hack by ... moonsomething or other. It's "Who Was Online Today" hack - do a search and it should come up. :)

well I am not sure if I am using the 'default' template or some other one I have listed :)
:s I still don't get it. :( But when editing templates it should tell you which template set you are editing - be it "Default" or a custom template set that you've created.

No. You need aspell or a PHP spell library installed on your server first. vb needs to be modified for spellchecker to work. Look for a hack that does it here.

It's a vBCode addition. Look for it here, or at vB.com.

To check which template you're using, go into your user control panel and check there :) (should be set to "use default" in the droptown menu.
