glow and shadow commands

hi, i remember using the glow and shadow commands on text but since i havn't used them in awhile, can someone plz tell me? thanks!

also i remember there was a bug where if use it for a profile field and forget to use the [/style], it glows the pm/email/website buttons under ur posts. does this still work?
