hiya

been trying to get this to work and its now doing my head in. I have a particular forum on my site that I want people to complete a subscriptioon page in-order to access. The subscription page I have done works 100% but what i can seem to do is when the user (who is usergroup 2 - registered) goes into this form I want it to instead of displaying the threads, display an error template (which I have dont already) which contains a link to the subscription form. now i thought i had done it by editing forumdisplay.php

under require ("./global.php"); i added :

if (($forumid=="6") && ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid]=="5") || ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid]=="6")
|| ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid]=="7") || ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid]=="14")){

I thought this would allow admins, mods, super mods and the new group I had created (14) to all have access to this forum. Then right at the bottom of forumdisplay.php just before the ?> I put:

} else {
$templatesused='error_adult,';
eval("standarderror(\"".gettemplate("error_adult")."\");");
exit;
}

now i thought this was working, i access this particualr forum (which is forumid 6) and it displays the message etc etc...great :)

BUT!

it also displays this message for every other forum aswell :(

where have I gone wrong? help!

i think i have sorted it, me being dumb, needed to step back and look at it again and then it was plainly obvious what i had done.
