View Full Version : How do I get forum setting to affect my post count?

I have forums that I turned off the setting so that they don't add to peoples postcounts. But, what do I need to do so that it bring peoples post counts down, for whoever posted in the forums that I turned off the postcount tracking? :nervous:

You can lower in in the db by hand in the user table or goto admin cp and update counters and it's in there.

I tried updating:

Users Info
Forums Info
Thread

and my postcount is the exact same as before. Any other ideas?

can you reset the counts? I dont have vb2 anymore got vb3 so I can't look first hand.

yeah there's a reset button. What exactly is that going to do? Do I need to reset and then update afterwards?

ya reset and it should set all to 0 then update and it will redo all the counts

So which one do I need to reset and update? Forums Info, Thread Info, or Users Info?
