Hello.
I co admin a Toyota 4Runner, SUV, and truck forum.
www.yotatech.com

I don't have Photoshop, but I did read the cool tutorial in this thread on how to make custom buttons.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47270

What we'd like to do is take our stock purple Home button and change the text on it to say new posts instead of the word home on it.
http://www.yotatech.com/images/top_home.gif

I already modified the code in the template area so when you mouse over it, it will say "View New Posts" instead of "Home."
I also modified the URL of it so it will show a logged in user the new posts since his/her last session.

How does one change the text on the button without Photoshop, and can it be done to look to match the other buttons?
Thanks, Corey

Thank you very much.
I even looked at that font that was mentioned in that "how to" post, but it's not the same font, and it's all in cap letters.

Just a tip. Add noise from 20% and then you don't get that horrible fuzzy black border :)

I am licensed.
What probably happened was the attbi/comcast merger that made our attbi email shut down, and we were forced to switch to the comcast addy.

My profile here had an older comcast email that was used for the license, and I changed it a few days ago to my new one.

That would throw it off.
I went to vb.com and inputted the new addy so it will be in the license database.

I use stroke instead. :D

That's what I've been using as well and seems to work best.
