For some reason no pop-up messages like the new PM notification pop-up (no matter which user or what settings the account uses) or the pop-up messages sent using s.molinari's pop-up messaging add-on (I have followed the instructions, resaved the options and used it successfully on the test boards) appear on my forums (vB 2.3.0). The PM notification problem also appears on the test boards, which is odd, as the pop-up messanging hack works there and all the rest is similar. It's probably caused by some of the many tweaks and add-ons. The problem appears on all pages, so it's not caused by the MSN hack either which chokes on Mozilla with it's ActiveX applet for MSN Messenger support. Neither can I figure out some PM hack that would cause it, because it happens on all pages. Also it's a browser indepedent issue, apparently. Anyone had any similar problem or have any clue what the issue could be?
Darn, it's 2:30 AM so I might have forgot some detail, but overall I haven't found any conflicting PHP code or neither has there been any parse errors. global.php or functions.php seem to be potential sources for the problem, but I can't find anything there either. The headinclude template also has $headnewpm in place.
I'm either too sleepy to realise what the problem is or there is a more dificult problem. :D
Thanks for all hints and clues! :classic:
