These are my vB forums, the first and currently only ones I own and have ever owned, so go easy on me :). I used about 20 hacks to get it modified including the famous "store hack" to provide a bit of fun for members, "shoutbox" and "quiz" for extra interactivity and some minor postbit addons.

All graphics were designed in Paint Shop Pro 7 and then converted to html via Dreamweaver. I sued to have tacky things like image rollover and moderator dropdown (thank goodness their gone!) but removed them because of speed issue and, well, they looked awful.

The members so far embarrisingly seem to be from the teen-pop area, which unfortunatly NOT the direction I originally wanted to go with, but rather more mature members with interesting things to say :). But then again, with LeAnn Rimes, what was I expecting!

Anyways, I'd really appreciate any feedback since I'm constantly updating and changing the forums, and some professional advice would be great!

Very cool, except I doubt it'll fit in 800x600 without horizontal scrolling.

Thanks ever so much filbert! And as a matter of fact, it does indeed fit in 800x600 as the attached file proves ;)

hmm not bad except its a bit of a waste with the big empty spot on the left of the page because you put the guitar in.

Don't like the purple gradient, otherwise nice. And it fits in 800X600 for me also.

I must admit the purple is a bit pungent, so I'll most likely change it to another color such as dark blue. And the left bit will have either a tower ad when I get short on cash to pay for them, a menu or a combination of both.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Looks better now. Maybe a gradient the color of your current category color?

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure if it might be overkill on the gradients. This way it almost looks like a tab for the categories, but then again maybe it looks cheap, lol. Anything else someone would like to suggest?
