I was wondering if there if someone could make a hack where the forums don't auto-prune inactive posts. I run a gaming site and a horror site and we often post reviews but it sucks when you come back a month later and they have been pruned.

This behavior is not there by default in vB. Make sure you didn't install any unnecessary hack.

The forums aren't supposed to auto-prune inactive posts. Maybe it's one of your other administrators?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I know we didn't have any problems with it until awhile back when I left the forums for a bit and a fellow Admin (now De-Adminned) pruned posts and now it auto-prunes like every month =/

Just curious...are you sure you have your options set to viewing posts more than a month (30 days) old? I've seen quite a few users get confused with that...
Check the bottom of the forum you are viewing and try making it since the beginning of the forum. If it works, change your options in the vB options page...
