Place the lines you have to add to member.php at the very end, but before the final ?>

Personally I prefer the modified version of Sig Editor (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32086) by Scott MacVicar ;)

A nice link in the post which allows moderators, super moderators and admins to edit the signature of other users. There is also protection to stop the user changing the signature of other admins and moderators. A nice tick box is also present to allow you to suspend the signature without having to type in the message.

They do different things, they are not comparable. Mine is a quick link to remove images from a user's signature, and Scott's is a more complex one, and you have to selectively remove the images then.

Yep, it would remove the two.

Once you remove the image, can you add the image if you want to see it again =/

I set it up, works great, easy to install. I like it, I'll install it

Sorry, but this hack does not support the recovery of removed images.
But then again, I'm sure that if the signature had an offending image, either too big, or offensive, then you wouldn't want to recover it :)

Unless you are afraid of clicking on the link by mistake?

yea, that's it. I was testing it out, and accidently removed my own sig :(

What is the URL shown for the link to remove a user's signature?
Is the userid the same as the user's userid, or is it your userid?

BladeZz
07-26-2003, 01:25 PM
the userid shows up,not mine.

BladeZz
08-05-2003, 05:03 PM
anyone else maybe?

What's the URL for the remove signature link?

BladeZz
08-06-2003, 04:52 AM
http://*************/forum/member.php?s=&action=sigimages&userid=2
it deletes only our own sigs,i have userid 1,i tested it on my co-admin.(above url)but it removes my own, vice versa the same if he tries to delete a sig his sig gets deleted instead of the user.
Hopefully this can be fixed,i really want this hack :)

It only does this on your board, you must have installed it incorrectly.

BladeZz
08-06-2003, 02:56 PM
I did exactly what is written in the instructions.Doublechecked it,reinstalled, still the same.
Anyway thank you for trying to help.

Could you copy and paste the postbit part that you need to modify for this hack, including 3-5 lines above and below it?

BladeZz

Sure,here it is :)

<td style="border: 1px solid #7E2B42;
<div align="center"> <smallfont><b>$post[username]</b> is now</smallfont> $onlinestatus

That should work. If not, then I can't come to any other conclusion.

It shouldn't be doing that, it should send you back to the post.
Are you 100% sure you installed correctly?
