I'm not advertising anything but would anyone like to have something like deviant art but highly customisable?

:-O!!! That would cost one nice piece of $$...I'm guessing?

I've started work on something like this as part of a school project but i gave up on it since my php coding skills sucked.... I'm guessing I'll repick up my habbit of finishing this thing

Basicly here are what the features are going to be once I get finished... beta release date is tba(esitmated mid-end of august if I start working on it a lot soon)

Gallery for User Uploaded items
User Control with a User CP
Profile Page
Search Engine
Admin Control Panel(Where all little tweaks will be and hopefully a template system if i can figure out how to make one of those)
A User Comment System
And a upload System for users to post new items
vBulletin Intergration as an option

This is a short list of things I plan on implementing.... All I need is a code name for this project and I'll be set to go to work full time on it since school is very close to be let out.

And could a mod move this some where more appropriate. I don't think the lounge is right for this.

And any suggestions on features to try to work into it will be gladely taken in to consideration

Not sure on a name, but for features, I'd suggest starting with the minimum. Then, once it's done, then you can start adding some more extra features. It's best to start small, so that you can at least have the base done, and then continue on building upwards once that's done.

A name I used for a website once was 'Taste-sicles' try using something like that:p Always gets people's attention.

But sounds nice;)

Good Luck!

Yea I'm thinking of starting with the features I already got planned... I just really need a name. I know there are some creative people out there.

And No Steve I won't use that name.

Are you selling this, because if you are, then this whole thread is not allowed, and we will close it. Bear in mind our new rules regarding advertising and self-promotion.

I'm most likely not going to end up selling this...
