I seriously doubt someone hacked your board. You most likely installed a hack wrong. Try uploading the original version of member.php. If that doesn't work, then you have the link to their profiles wrong.

You probably made it so that all usergroups cannot view member profiles. Change the permissions by editing the usergroups in your Admin CP.

Eh? How would that be possible Erwin? He said it takes them to the password retrieval page... Wouldn't it give a no permission page if that were true?

no, i didnt add any hacks, my host changed my passwords, so i havent been able to acess the ftp for like 3 weeks, and it was fine yesterday....
Erm you can't have been hacked though, that's just an add thing for someone to do...if you were hacked, i'd imagine a lot more would've been done.
Re-upload all original vBulletin files and then see what happens.

Then you have a pretty sad host if they don't even let you in your own account, for which you're paying.

That's the lesson here kids:
Never trust a free host (especially with a vBulletin!)
I'd suggest you relocate your board to another, paid host where you can receive at least decent support and service.

Kids? How old are you Gary?

Not too old; and no, I don't have kids of my own, if that's what you were wondering ;)

Are you sure about the kids of your own? ;) And how old is not too old, may I ask?

Yep I'm sure about the first part. For the age part, that will never be revealed, unless you know me personally ;)
