Running "Database Optimization" in vbPortal is crazy queries. :p
Wanna kill a server run it with like 20 others doing it too. A true test on the server.

you should reduce gzip to level 1 it's really enough :)
EEK! Gzip level 9 = not healthy. Switch to level 1 immediately!
and 111 queries :-O
PHP 4.1.2, its like a grandad server! Get 4.3.1 !!!

vBPortal is like that unfortunately, if you switch on all the modules.

Ya I know. Right now I have them all off but the news and I'm running 36. So I'm trying to fix up the queries as much as I can.

Probably...

I'd love to know who he's hosted with. I would think they're pretty good if they can actually handle all that strain. :)
Oh, anyone know if that's vBportal he's using?

Those queries come from the forums he has listed at the top and bottom of the page.
Haha, 200 queries on his homepage and 113 on his forum home, this guy's suiciding...

WTF!!! How do you get so many. And his forums . . . 103?? Thats a little much for vbulletin. Insanly mad!
A little much Steve?! 103 is insane! I have 21 on my forumhome and 0 on my forumhome [i'm not a portal kinda guy, i dont like smokin' my server]...103, any query count in triple figures is worrying.

Oh 103 isn't me. The 111 up on first post is and I did that on pourpose to tset the server load. But ya any over 40 is really bad I say. And how you have 0 on forumhome? You need to call the forums do you not?

This is actually what he said:
I have 21 on my forumhome and 0 on my forumhome
which contradicts itself.
