I know how to set it up to show a person's real name in the postbit by using profile fields, but I'd like to make it so if a person doesn't put their name in it won't show Real Name: in the postbit. I know this involves a little minor hacking, but I don't know how or what. I tried to do it myself with my minescule php knowledge, but failed. Can anyone help?

Here you go Mike:
if ($post[field6]!="") {
$realname="First Name: $post[field6]<br>";
} else {
$realname="";
}
Just put the field# of what your variable for the first name is and stick this in the functions.php right after:
if ($post[aim]!="") {
eval("\$post[aimicon] = \"".gettemplate("aim")."\";");
} else {
$post[aim]="";
}

I did something similar to that. I'll try it your way though. Thanks Boofo! I'll let you know how it turns out.

That is what I use and it works like you wanted. ;)

It worked great! I wasn't far off on my version of it then. :D Thanks!

Just for curiosity's sake, what was your version?

I think I trashed it out of frustration, but I'll go see if I can find it. I had everything right except for the way I was doing the IF statement. I think instead of !="" I had =="1" or something like that. I'll go look for it.
