Error attaching a file

this is what i get .. "There has been an error with your attempt to upload the file. Please try again, and if the error continues" what should i check first?

Search and ye shall find, particurally at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ unless your board is insanely hacked (which would be the problem).

ok i found the problem .. on php.ini make sure you specify a dir on "upload_tmp_dir" and restart webserver
