[REQUEST for 2.2.x] Guests can only view first X posts per thread

Is this hack already out??? I looked and looked but couldn't find it. Anyway, if not, I don't think it would be that hard to make but I couldn't see hot it would be done...

I just want it so guests can only view the first 3 or 4 posts in each thread, and then after that instead of showing another post, it would say "Sorry guests cannot view more than 3 posts per thread" instead of the post. It would show that for however many posts there were after 3. does that make sense??

I'm suprised this hasn't been made already. Maybe is has????

Well I want it so guests can view as many threads as they want but they just get the first couple posts... That one lets them view 5 threads and then be forced to register.
