NewsPortal: Export news from ANY forum

I would like to create a news page by exporting threads. There are some nice hacks but they all export threads from a specific forum. I would like to have the ability to choose threads from several forums. A simple way would be to export threads by giving the threadID. Is there any such news hack?

Hi, i have installed the hack & it worked fine, i posted the news & it showed up, 5 minutes later the news had gone...i checked the post & so had the news tags, it seems it removes theem for me...is there something i am doing wrong?
