I believe 18 is reasonable from what I remember.

I got a 33 about seven years ago when I took it. But it was pretty useless since most of the schools I applied to wanted the SAT and didn't care about the ACT.

I'd say 20-22 is pretty good. anything above that and you should be proud. anything below, then take it again ;)
