I am having some serious problems getting my templates working in vbhome, but I get the impression this is not the place to ask for help. I post on Teck's site, but no response. Is there any other forums that you guys could recomend? Thanks.

Maybe you can answer one question. I just installed vbhome 4.2, does it only allow 2 columns? (1 for articles, and the other for stuff along the left) I am going for the look www.honda-acura.net has and they use 3.2. Would I need to use that version or is there a setting I need to change?

It allows unlimited columns, edit the template, its just basic html.

Heh, please forgive my ignorance. When you are referring to the template, do you mean the template.php file or the templates in the admin control panel?

I am aware no one is obligated to provide support. And I am aware of all the licensing issues. I was not asking for other sites with hacks, I am just looking for some help with it. I believe in supporting developers, so the last thing I would do is support a site that hosts illegal software or anything of that nature. Is it alright if I just ask some quick questions here then?

Edit the templates via the admin cp, thats where you can get to all the html. vBhome added a few custom templates, see how the columns included are built up and go from there.

Thanks alot :) Now, I am trying to carry my color theme through to the vbhome, do i need to change each color manually, or can I just plug in the name (which is default) in some where? When i try in the field on "Use Specific Template Set" to plug in the name it doesn't work and makes all my images come up as broken links :(

Make sure your image folder is set correctly (full path).

I had set it to 'http://sjiradio.com/forum/images' which is the dir for images.

Additionally, when I do select a desired style (color styles) it doesn't even apply them.

Not to be rude but I cant really support vBhome to well cause I havent played with it scence v1, so this will probbly be my last reply.

I *think* TECK added a new option to the vbulletin options page for the styles, if not, post a reply in the vBhome support thread or at TECK's site. Someone that uses the hack will be able to support you better then I.
