Tournament Hack

I'm not sure if this has been created yet or not. I've searched the forums and found nothing of the sort.

Basically, what I'm interested in seeing is a tournament hack which allows a moderator or admin create a tournament of sorts (in my case, for Warcraft III) and allows members to type their names in response to a thread and those names go into tournament brackets.

The tournament brackets are then generated on a separate page some where using vbulletin templates and then the thread starter can input the winners of each bracket until the tournament is over.

Does this seem like something that can be done? Also, is there a piece of software out that does this decently. Thanks.

I'm thinking of making a hack like this.
Only my idea is:

- Sign up as Member / Clan
- Start with 1000 points
- Win / Lose will be + / - points

Just like clanbase.
Only i think i need some help...cause i wouldn't know how to make a script wich will calculate the points.

Ok, i'm currently bussy trying to make a standalone ladder.
After that's finished, i;m going to look to put it in vB

'this would be my first real hack though.
So it might take some time.

I'm now bussy @ a stand-alone.
After that, i know how the code works and i'm going to
put it in vB
