View Full Version : [NO PROBLEM] In User CP, changing styles doesnt work
Does this happen to anybody?
I try to go to User CP > Options, and changing the style to Dark Blue (I've tried them all), and then I click Submit. It says "thanks" or whatever the message is, but the style is always the green/yellow one...:(.
Help?

Try logging out and back in. The styleid cookie will override your set styleid.

I've been having this problem with almost every vB I go to...
I've noticed a connection, every single one had a Quick Style Change on them... the other vB's that didn't have them worked fine.

press ctrl+f5 on the edit options page, then try again.

I got your PM, MSX.
Go to the forum homepage of vB.org, and in the dropdown menu, choose the style you want. The homepage style dropdown menu is NOT based on your CP options, and is based on cookies, and will ALWAYS override your CP options. Do that first and have a look.
If that doesn't work, your cookie is corrupt.
Go to your browser, Tools, Options, Settings, and delete all your cookies.
Then try again. This has nothing to do with the User CP options - it's a cookie problem.
Hey Erwin, yea it was a bad cookie :-P.
Deleted them all, so now it works :).
Thanks!
