question about the default buttons

is there a way to change the colors of these buttons from the purple color they are to like a gray color without loading eachone into photoshop?

No (vButton still opens Photoshop before somebody suggests it), although you can download some other button sets at places like http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/ .

Basically there is software which does it manually for you yes... It's called vButton and available at .com :)
