Hi there,
we are a gaming, musik, mopvie review community..we write our reviews in a MySQL database..so i decided to use it with php and make searchable options and sorting options out.. in the databases we post our reviews..
an example for a review is here:
1.) http://www.spielplanet2.de/forum/gaming/test.php?dominator=2 <--index view of an area (here pc games)
2.) http://www.spielplanet2.de/forum/gaming/test.php?dominator=3&link=29 <--detail page of a review when you klick the link on the index page
Need this:
so.. i just write an review and now for exaple some visitors would like to discuss this or other reviews so it would need an option like quick reply box on this non-vb page.. but first step is anyway creating a review on this non-vb page..and there till now dont exists a discussing thread.. but if the first user would open a disucussion he automativally would create an thread in forum X .. and if he create tzhis thread..on the non-vb page maxybe it could bee viewable that comments are made .. or a discussion ist started..
.. i just saw..that logician (im a fan of him *smile) answered to an similar reqeust..but the reqeust diuscussion did not show how they manage that .. oly the request is sshown..and than many credits are given .. but how do they manage that..isnt shown..
.. i really need al little help..cause..i am not an really coder.. i just wrote this review script..and i am happy that it works..but the forum and the main-non-vb pages are like two sites..i i could get this option i would build an bridge an integrate the forum 100% in these non-vb pages..
