Has a hack relative to this been made? Like say you could switch ID's witch unused or inactive accounts. :rolleyes:

yea, i have total of 315 members now but my member IDs are up in the 700s. would be nice if they could be moved down

That's a very bad because it can cause random strangeness throughout your entire forum. You're not able to edit a *id for a reason.
Filb's right. Posts, threads, pm's, forums, the calendar, and several other things can be really messed up if you change userid's.

Sorry to bump this thread after 3 month.
I would also like to see a hack/phpscript which switches a specific existing user ID with an empty user ID. Some of our admins have high ID numbers, and I want to give them a lower number, cause it just looks cool :) (you need to favor someone's ego now and then :) ) We have a lot of unused low ID's, cause they are leftovers of old test registrations.
