Hello all

I am just making a new template set for my forum and would like to know which template the on.gif and off.gif are in so I can change the directory of these two images.

Anyone please help

Thank you very much

Stuart

Your on.gif and off.gif are in a different folder from your other vBulletin images?

Anyways, if they are, then you'll have to modify the following templates to add the correct paths:

forumhome
postbit_offline
postbit_online
usercp_buddy

There may be more; if there are, then just modify the page's template where they appear.

Hello, these new images will be in a different folder, its a temp template I am making for easter.

I have just changed all those files but my index on the forums are still using the same on and off images?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Stu

Try searching these templates:

forumhome_forumbit_level1_post
forumhome_forumbit_level2_post

Thanks Gary, had another go and still can't see the template that effects the index, searched both level post templates and the nearest I could find was this:

="{imagesfolder}/$forum[onoff].gif"

Don't think thats anything to do with it though!

Any others I can try?

Thanks

That should be the one.

The code you're looking for is {imagesfolder}/$forum[onoff].gif

Change {imagesfolder} to whatever folder the on.gif and off.gif are located.

If you're talking about on.gif and off.gif when reading a PM, it gets the path from the postbit_offline and postbit_online templates, so if you already modified these templates, then it will also affect the on/off.gif for reading PMs.

Thanks Gary

Its PM indicator on the index of the forum I am talking about, inside the message the on/off works fine, the on/off on the index is still the same as normal even with those files edited?

Thanks

Could you tell me which file you are talking about? (please tell me the full URL, like private.php?s=&action=show&privatemessageid=1) And where on the page it is located? (top, middle, bottom)

It seems that you are talking about one of the following files:

index.php
private.php

Please clarify which on/off.gif you are talking about.

Could you show me a screenshot? I think this is a hack that you have installed, so I don't have this template.

Look for {imagesfolder}/$lightbulb.gif in the forumhome_pmloggedin template.
