Hi!

I'd like to add a couple of custom fields to the registration page;

* A required field with 3-4 choices using a pulldown menu or radio buttons

* An optional field for 6 digit numbers

Also, I'd like this to work with Firefly's lite registration hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27952&perpage=15&display=&pagenumber=1) ...

Could anyone tell me how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

TMM

Well you can create a dropdown custom profile field using a hack that Mutt made :

Thanks,

Any clue if this could work with the Firefly hack mentioned above? Also, I wonder if the custom fields could be made mandatory on the registration page...?

That won't do a drop down select box though. That's what I was looking for.

It does ! (doesn't it :s)? :)

I've used it before

It gives you a drop down box but not a clickable one like a select box. It looks more like a list box than anything else. I installed it and had ti uninstall it when it messed up my modify options.

So, what do you think... worth trying, or not?

Thanks for your input,

Ahh i see what you mean Boofo - you can modify it by putting html as the options no?

I'm not sure how you would do it. If you want to give it a try, I will definitely be interested in trying it again.

I'm sorry pal i just don't have time for it right now - trying to make my site XHTML compliant today ;)

You know it allows you to have options in the dropdown. Well make them html (<a href=" etc...) :)

Why doesn't that answer surprise me? ;)

You know it allows you to have options in the dropdown. Well make them html (<a href=" etc...)

But that still doesn't make it a drop down select box.
