one of the only problems i think i have is server speed,

I love the header, but I am struggling to read the forum because of the colors. The Plexik style is a bit more readable, but seems to be missing many of the special features and has a lot of broken graphics.

I would probably move the special features section (arcade, quizzes, etc.) down below the forums or in the middle until trafic picks up in the forums.

Same is true for the general discussion forums. Move the most active ones down to force people to scroll past the others. If they see the other forums more, they might post in them more.

I honestly think your board could use a focus. If you stuck with fan fiction, for example, you could promote the forum better and build a core audience. With a focus and a core membership, you could THEN expand into other topics the members are interested in as long as you make sure your focus topic gets the most emphasis.

well, i am not the SUPAR MEGA HAXXOR CODER like alot of you guys, i am using theirs as a starting point, i am currently working on my own, but not releasing it yet since it is not even close to done...
