I have spent many hours hacking and modifying, as well as coding my own hacks for my forum.

Its a party organising website with everything ppl need to help with their orangements, the directories need more listings but its still earley days.

What do you guys think...

Extremely cluttered home page. Also Google will kick you permanently out of its index when it finds the flooding at the bottom of the page.

You also have way too many forums for the user base--combine some to make them look more busy.

Today at 10:24 AM filburt1 said this in Post #2 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?postid=375240#post375240)

Are you talking about the main index page (non vb)

Yes. Apparently that technique will make Google permanently remove your site from the index and they do catch it.

ooops thanks for adding the link filburt1 and thanks for your comments.

I realise that there is a lot of forums.. I am reducing them as i install various hacks to take their place.

Huh ^ lol - who are you giving instructions to ;)

No offence trafix but this is one of the worst designs i have seen. The background looks horrible. You have about a bazillion forums of which most should be cut IMO :)

The quick registration isn't exactly quick lol! and your currently active users table is messed up big time

ooops sorry i have a couple of windows open at the momnent

Yes Marzas, i didnt notice that i put it in the wrong thread....

1) i will be getting rid of the quick reg anyway.
2) why is the active users stuffed up...the bit at the top or at the bottom
3) I have been cutting out some of the forums....however party organising is a large topic.

Thanks for your comments miSt

well i must say thay that 99% of the forums that i have seen are all using dark or black themes and colors.....mayby there is something that people are not used to seeing a forum that is brightly coloured with a party theme...i think that a party isnt a party without balloons & streamers, thats why i used them for the background.

PS Well at least you approve of the jukebox :)

Ok...time for more comments..

1) I have added vh home lite to replace the old standard index page.

2) completley rebuilt members profiles and templated most of it.

3) I also done a lot to the post bit and made options approiate to certain members only show in their postbits instead of all posts.
