i dont know way we didnt do it before

i have a large forum an the bandwidth go up to 25Gb every month

i was wander what's the problem to entel the bandwidth
after thinking i find it
it's the smilies,forumdisplay.php And showthread.php

i have 658 smilies in my forum
it's about 5MB

so i was thinking how can i fix this problem
i cant delete the smilies becoze all the smilies is used

but i have 2 idea i think it well fix this problem

first :
(Smilies Gellery) Hack
so it's well make the view faster and it well low the bandwidth

but it's not enaf

i so my analog stats and i saw that this to file only take more than 13 Gb in the month !!

i know that all the therad display in this to file's but

sorry, my optimizing forumhome hack just reduces the ammount of queries and reduces the serverload so.
it doesn't spare bandwith.

there is a hack out which optimizes the forumdisplay but it also doesn't reduce bandwith.

to reduce bandwith look into Erwin's signature there is a link to a thread with tips in it :)

i saw it mr"Bane" but i stell need "Smilies Gellery"
it's will make the Smilies in groups so it will make the load for every group beter than load a page have more than 600 Smilies

Sun Boy, that is a huge hack and I am not sure anybody wants to tackle something so big when VB3 is going to make all the work a moot point.
