Anyone know if something like this already exists? Here's what I need.
In several other BB programs you're allowed to setup user groups. Users can belong to ANY NUMBER of user groups at the same time. It was a very easy way to manage heirarchical permissions to forums. You set permissions on each group as to what they should have access to, and then the user inherits the permissions to various forums from the group membership.
Am I just overlooking something in vBulletin that I haven't found yet? THe only groups I see are the login/registration groups, and users can only belong to one at a time.
Thoughts? Assistance? Help?
Regards,
