I would love to see a forum added where we can discuss the business of administering our boards. That might be covering hosting costs, finding moderators, firing moderators, handling naughty users, whatever. A lot of that kind of stuff goes in the lounge, but I believe it might be more useful in a forum of it's own.

We have a lot of people here who manage all different kinds of forums and who can really help new admins. It would be great to see you exploit that knowledge.

While I agree it would would be good, vB is more of a technical site than an administrative site :)

True, but people talk about it here anyway. I guess I just thought it might benefit the site to organize the wealth of info that is already here.

Well i can see your point. I already feel that we have enough forums and the lounge more or less covers that issue :)

I think it's a good idea but I don't feel it's necessary enough to be added as a forum.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Lounge was created as a forum where we don't talk about vB and forums and whatever else, but a place where we could talk about random things, life and Mists Kitty :p
I think the addition of a forum dedicated to the administration of your forum is a good idea. I don't see why it shouldn't be included as we have a forum for everything else. With this addition it'd just make vBulletin.org better as it appeals to a wider group. Maybe people don't like hacking or have no idea what they're doing, but they'd still like to get better knowledge on how to run their board.

i agree with a-drive. A forum dedicated to helping admins @ forums would be very good for the people at vb.org

The Lounge
Sit back in your lazy-boy recliner and chat away. Discuss anything related to vBulletin or life in general!

I think you just added in that description RIGHT now :p Welll, generally it should be a forum for non-vB talk. Everyone needs a release from vB!!!

I've already contributed my part to this... for now :bandit:

vB.org is a specialist forum - for discussing vB Hacks and related issues. So we will try to keep it that way, and have a Lounge forum for all else. :)

There are other forums which cover what you want, such as bbadmins. ;)
But yeah, the Lounge would fit anything about that nicely. :)
