Forum has been running phpBB for last 6 months but have now moved over to Vb. I am impressed with the admin options of Vb so we decided to move.
Anyway Here it is "MH Linux" Portal and forums

For what you have on your homepage you could dramatically reduce server resources by using vbhome_lite of myvbindex... They use far less queries... Only disadvantage is you can't have modules ;)
Feedback:
- I can't say i've ever been a great fan of the left-column in forums. I really don't like it :(
- Your header image isn't too smart and something more elegant could probably be done
- You have a mix of default vbulletin buttons and black set which doesn't look proffesional
- Try checking over at www.vbulletintemplates.com and our 'Template Modifcations' forum for tips on how to organize your layout into a different structure which i think would look nice :)
- You don't need the vbportal copyright in your forums footer :)
- You have two two register buttons in the header hehe
Basically i think if you get a new buttons set, apply some template mods and get a better header image it will look a lot nicer :)

-Rid of the vBPortal, way too many queries. At least use vBIndex or vBHomeLite. Those can reude your load dramatically.
-Color scheme is dull, maybe needs more images to make it live.
-Don't like the header too much, default buttons aren't the answer I think.
-I think you should rid of the vBportal column on the forumhome too. Not exactly needed as it's just from the portal in which you have links to it in your header.
-Noticed one of the Supermods post column was all bold. Forgot to close the bold tag?
-Rest is default layout, maybe do something with the templates?

I thought the site looked rather smart. Obviously i am viewing it after the changes have been made but it looks good now.
As far as server queries goes, IMO, some people worry about the number of queries way too much. The site runs fast enough so it doesnt matter about the queries.
