Hi,

I'm looking for a dutch language pack for v2.2.9 / v2.3.0.

I've found an incomplete pack for v2.0.3.

If the pack does not exist yet, how can I create one myself?
By editing vbulletin.style? or is there a better way?

Btw. Any dutchies want to join in and help?

thnx,

Zane

I'm looking for a dutch language pack too... I found old versions, but they can't be imported anymore. I already started to translate some parts, but it's a hell of a job! :disappointed:

I suggest we contact eachother and see if we can work together. Are there any tools to easy the process? Or must we work in the code?

I'm also afraid that once vBulletin 3.0 comes out the whole thing will need to be done all over again.

If you want to work together on the dutch translation please contact me. (Email)
You can have access to the admin of a dutch developper-forum.
This is the fastest way to have a 100% up-to-date dutch language pack.

Let me know if you ar interested!

I'm sorry to say that this one is still incomplete. The vB code tags haven't been renamed, and perhaps similar stuff.

<p>Note that you must remember to close the list with the <font color="red">[/list]</font> tag.</p>

And more around that

Maybe you'd like to make a contribution then ;)

maybe vb tags are not template based?
like some other things, for example month names in the calendar, they are hardcoded in calendar.php...

anyhow, great work! i appreciate it!
translation is pretty good ;)

There are some buggs in the pack 2
You can't save the settings you've made in the User Options section of the forum.
Can't you just put the released one online please..

Ok, dumb question... rename into what ?
I don't know what kind of file it should be, I just have vbulletin workin for a day, and am happy enough a n00b like me could pull that off...

So should it be like a .php file or .style ????

questions questions.....

*edit*
I figured it out !
It should be a .style extention, and after importing it in the admin control panel it will appear as a second default style.... So I just kept on picking the english style coz that was also called default.
n00bish or not, I won't give up :P

hi,

i am setting up a private forum for Belgian Dentists and bought vbulletin 2 weeks age.

I downloaded the dutch language pack posted by Jscheurs above, renamed it to upload and import it with "Use style file even if it is for a different version of vBulletin
" set to "yes".

Every option failed with "invalid style file".

Is that because the version difference.

Is there a more recent dutch language pack?

Please help or els i have to translate everything manually

Kind Regards
