Is there anything that prevents me from adding tables to my vB database?

I do not know php. Is it possible to connect to the database via ASP? If so what would the connection string be?

Nothing prevents you from adding to your database. Adding new tables won't have an effect on vB.

You can connect to MySQL with ASP, though I can't see why anyone would want to! (PHP rules :p) I'm a Perl & PHP man, not too sure on an example string. I'm sure there are some ASP boffs about...
