Just a quick idea, basically it's just a matter of adapting the quick reply hack to enable ppl to pm a member from their profile, sound good to anyone?

No because it's just one more click anyway the current way. However, it can be done with just templates so I'll probably release this at vBT.

heh, me and my partner are working on this same exact thing(adds a small box with subject) in the profile of that user and you can send them a PM :)

Open your getinfo_sendpm template..

At the bottom add this:

<script type=text/javascript>
function toggleT(_w,_h) {
if(document.getElementById) { //This for Mozilla
if (_h=='s') eval("document.getElementById(_w).style.visibility='visi ble';");
if (_h=='h') eval("document.getElementById(_w).style.visibility='hidd en';");
}
if (document.all) { // is IE
if (_h=='s') eval("document.all."+_w+".style.visibility='visible';");
if (_h=='h') eval("document.all."+_w+".style.visibility='hidden';");
}
else { // is NS?
if (_h=='s') eval("document.layers['"+_w+"'].visibility='show';");
if (_h=='h') eval("document.layers['"+_w+"'].visibility='hide';");
}
}
</script>

<form action="private.php" method="post" name="vbform" style="display:inline;" onSubmit="return validate(this)">
<input name="r2" type="button" class="bginput" value="QuickPM" onClick="toggleT('qpm','s')"><br />

Just remove the javascript and also these lines of code:

<input name="r2" type="button" class="bginput" value="QuickPM" onClick="toggleT('qpm','s')">

<div id="qpm" style="VISIBILITY: hidden; POSITION: absolute">

<input name="r2" type="button" class="bginput" value="Hide" onClick="toggleT('qpm','h')">
