I have been hacking away at my site thanks to all the nice hacks and work people are so willing to share on here.... I hope one day I may be able to contribute some how.

Anyhow this is my site so far. It is a vampire communty ( or will be )

All ideas and feed back are welcome .. Please just keep in mind it is a vampire site. :) My name on there is insanctus.

Ugh, talk about dark & dull.

Sorry, the colors really ruin the rest of it.

Dark..... is the look I was going for.... it is a vampire community ..... or in hopes to be one..... They look down on daisys..... but input on how make it look better is welcome.

The dark hurts my eyes.
I would make the link and textcolor different and brighter (maybe #cccccc and #666666). Just my 2 cents... :)

Yeah I think making the link and text coler a lil brighter would make it look nicer.

Ok took the input..... tryed it out .... and I must admit I think ya was right..... easier to read.....

My g/f uses this name on our forums... she been doin alot of graphix I do the hack addin's ...

There's a difference between looking cool for the effect to making the effect more important than even basic usability. If my eyes bled every time I saw a light-on-dark color scheme I'd be swimming.

Has any one ever done a vampire community with the forums ?

If so I would be very interested in seeing what they did and so on.

Make the text color brighter. :) If I was a vampire, I would be wearing sunglasses in the daytime, and I would not be able to read the text. :)

LoL .. It is not a rpg vampire site.

Not about the mythilogical bs that is fed into peoples mind beleiving a vampire lives for ever and can not face the sun and yadda yadda.

I plan how ever one day to do another style... That will come once the site is more used.

The biggest vampire sites ( for true vampires ) have the dark theme. Most how ever are rather tacky and junk boards.

So I am trying to make a community for vamp's on a vbulletin.

Any input besides the darkness (v_v)
