The ones you got are, well, horrible. I'm not a fan of loads of graphics, but PURPLE, GREEN and GREENER are just, :bored:

MORE STYLES :bunny:

What's better, more styles or this?
Xenon and Erwin are about to become the new administrators of vBulletin.org! Now that you found the secret, would you like to post and let everyone else know about it or keep it to yourself and at the end say "I told you so"?

purple is the standart vb style, and doesn't have much graphics.
it's good to read and that's all you need normally.

also we don't have the time to create a new stylsheet out of nothing, with all tha hacks installed that isn't so easy, and c-prompt isn't around anymore.

but if you wish, you can create a style and send it to us :)

Yeah, PURPLE SHOULD BE REPLACED with light blues and greys :)

Really now, let me poke around and see how many hacks appear to be installed, and maybe I can create a simple and usable style! So cool!

Sounds good. I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to send in new styles but i'd say we stick with what we have :)

@mist: one new style have been promised long time ago, do you remember?.

i think everyone is allowed to send in a style, but if we decide to use it that's another thing...

Agreed, having many styles means many template sets, and it's a pain in the middle region of your backside. I have too many styles already (8, I think), I really ought to get rid of a few. But on the other hand, vB3 is closing in so I might as well keep them. :)

Yea i remember that, c-pr0mpt was supposed to do a style almost 8 months ago or so... so much for that.

Not true. I used to think that also. Now I have 10 styles and 2 templates sets. Would only have one but I needed a second set as default for the url rewrite hack. Everything else is done with the replacement sets.

Agreed. I try to limit my template sets to One Set for all styles, when and if possible. Replacements are great in vBulletin, once a person gets the hang of them and use them effectively. This saves considerable amount of time when updating/installing hacks or even making minor template changes.

hmm, in vb3 this will be perfect, when you can just modify the header/footer template and nothing more to create a new style without changing every single template...:)

Hmm...I don't know if I could have only one template set. None of my styles look similar. :)

I couldn't have a single template set either. When you have majorly modified styles you can't :p

You're best to go to vbulletintemplates.com for a free styles resource. Please don't bump old threads in future :)

Thanks
