I just have a small question about the installation of vBhome Lite. Is it possible to install this in a different file besides the main root index file? The reason why is because I don't want to take down my current homepage because I'm working on an offline design in which I want to include vBhome Lite with. I have a feeling if I rename the index file, it might screw up everything.
Can someone please explain if this is possible? Thanks in advance.

Just rename the vbhome index to index1.php. keep the same directory placement as instructed, it's easier.
Thats what I what I did....

It looks like you haven't set a forumID for something. Look in the vBulltinOPtions page under the vBHome catagory and see if theres anything there that may help

Not sure then, ask in the hack thread for more support:)

I would be careful doing to much work with vbHome. Teck isn't doing much in the way of supporting it.

Is it possible to install this hack without moving the original vb index and global files? My forum is my root, so what do I do?
I renamed the vbhome index to index1.php like this thread states, but I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: allowedforums() in/home/bozzyswo/public_html/unrulypolitics.com/index1.php on line 15
yes, i ran the install file.

for me it appears as 'front page' and it's the very last option listed.
