The copyright notice is far far too dark and the license agreement states that you can't obscure, remove, or edit it.
Also for just starting out you have too many forums, cut it down to half or so.

Nice dark green colors - very X-files. :)
The turtle man is right though... the vB copyright is a bit dark. Maybe lighten it up a bit. Otherwise, interesting forums. :) Lots of testosterone in there. Flame Forums is an appropriate name.

exactly. Thanks to Corey for that goodness. He rocks. And I think if you go back to the forums you will after being open for only 2 hours we already have some members and over 100 posts. Not bad for only telling one other person. Word of mouth always wins.

Thats irrelevent, 3/4 of your forums don't have much posts. And they won't until you get at least 1000 members that would fit. Just start out small and build up as you go along. :)

Lord,
Its not irrelevent. How would you know about this? Have you ever run a website such as this one before? It is not your average ordinary run of the mill forum. But I am not going to argue with you.

- Far too dark
- You don't have too many forums :)
- vbskins.com style is one i'm not a fan of. Too dark with outstanding blindingly bright colors
- Contact link points to forums index

Uhm? You are using a stock vBulletin with a $30 skin anyone can buy? so yah, it?s another ordinary run of the mill forum. What should we be impressed with, your choice of category names?

I posted my forum link in here too. None liked it cept one pm I got saying they did.
They told me what they did not like and so on in the post I asked for input.
When you ask for thoughts and ideas. You open yourself up to others ideas. That is the point of this section.
I think the skin is cool. But as they said it is just a $30 skin that a lot have.
I was going to buy one but I did not want to have what a lot others did.
As far as topics your forum is locked so I did not get a chance to look.
As for your choice of words that in itself shows the intellect your forums would have. :)
Have a nice day though and good luck.

If you can't take a little criticism then you shouldn't have asked. I agree with what people say when it shows little creativity and dedication by the webmaster when they just buy or use a canned style set. It makes your forums look like all the other ones out there.

You can't expect all happy-happy comments when something is wrong. They aren't trying to put you down, they're helping you. But it involved critisism and if you can't take it don't post your forums for commenting.
