I am currently running vbindex, I just upgraded to vbulletin 2.3 and the latest version of vbindex.

But I am having a slight problem I wasn't before.

On my website, in the upper conner on all pages it says Welcome; $username

Well on all my forum pages it works, but on my nonvb pages, my vbindex pages, it is showing other user names, and they are randomly sticking.

It keeps changing who's name it is showing, but it isn't showing my name.

I am thinking I used something other than $username to call the username to the page.

Ideas?

You need to include global.php.

That is called up in the index.php file already, so why would I put it in again in the template?

Oh, okay. :)

Try replacing $username with $bbuserinfo[username] then.

Martin is correct - the correct variable which can be called by any template is $bbuserinfo[username]
