Hi! I'm not sure where to post this, so I will post it here...
Is there a way to ban an IP of a 'guest'? I would like to ban certain guests who frequent my site so they can't even read what's there. I know I can ban them from registering and such, but is there a way to ban from even viewing the boards?
Thanks in advance!!

I would ban them in an .htaccess file.

If you know their IP just ban them in the IP banning section of the ACP (in the vbulletin options) :)

I did that, but I beleive they can still see the board as a guest... All it will do is keep them from registering and posting.. They are still able to see all my members and all posts made..
I don't want them to be able to even see the boards or my members....

set up a route on your machine
whatever their ip is... point it to 127.0.0.1

If you ban a person's IP, they will NOT be able to see the posts or members.
All they will see is a "Your IP has been banned. Please contact the administrator". This will occur to registered AND unregistered users from that IP.
In WOL, they will look as though they are going around your site, but they will only get that message.

Will a .htaccess fix also solve proxie users?
