Password entry to forums like on UBB?

I have been through all the hacks here but can't seem to find what I am after - hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I have recently installed VB and imported all my UBB users, posts etc but I want to open a password protected forum like there was on UBB. There doesn't seem to be an option for doing this when you create a new forum.

Is there a hack available that will allow me to give access to ANY user that knows the password?

This is the only thing that was available in UBB that I miss so far...

yes, maybe you have to do a deeper search, but it has been released...

also in vb3 this will be a standartfeature :)

Be wary of the hack released here to password-protect forums because it has a major bug where you can access a thread that someone is viewing in a password-protected forum in online.php you can click the link without it needing a password...

Hehe i'm sure "you" could fix it soon enough Xenon - why not investigate a fix for the bug in the thread..
