etc, it has a link that you can do copy shortcut too, etc.
It appears in the top righthand corner on this forum, and many others.
Does Anybody know? I want an up to date one though, one that works with 2.2.9 or a 2.2.8 one if possible! (I want one exactly like this forum has it) thx

Yeah, thank you, but that says vB 2.2.1.....i am running on 2.2.9 - would it still work? I don't want to screw up my board or anything.

Thanks sir :)
Would this stuff work on vB 3.0? or will we have to redownload all these hacks again and such?

No, when you upgrade to vB 3.0 when it comes out, you will have to install all the hacks again (you will have to wait until the hacks have been rewritten and released for vB 3.0).

Ok....also can you help with this part:
------
save and upload.
Edit template postbit AND postbit_ignore and place the variable $countposts where you want the post # to show.
For example, place <smallfont>Post #$post[postcount]</smallfont> somewhere at the bottom or <a href="showthread.php?postid=$post[postid]#post$post[postid]"><smallfont>$post[postcount]</smallfont></a> if you want the numebr to also be a hyperlink directly to that post.
----
I don't understand? I edited the showthread.php and uploaded, but i am having troubles with that part. What would i put in the post bit?
This:
<smallfont>Post #$post[postcount]</smallfont>
or:
the long url post thing?
