upgrading from 2.2.6 to 2.2.9 - how will this affect my installed hacks

hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong forum but wasn't sure where i should be posting it...

We will be upgrading our forums from VB ver 2.2.6 to 2.2.9 within the next couple of days and I was wondering if there was an easy way to transfer all of the installed hacks to this new version (as well as all the custom templates etc). Is possible to do so without manually reinstalling each and every one of them....or will I have to start from scratch again?
