Private Events on Calender Hack

I'm looking for a hack on the private events on the calender.

What I'd like is when posting a Private Event, I can choose when I'd like to be reminded of this event. When that date comes up I'll get a Popup like a PM Popup to bring my attention to this private event.

This would help me out a lot on our forums. I searched and didn't find anything like this. Maybe I passed somethign up. Otherwise, can someone pull this off?

If this hack has been accomplished already Id like to have it myself. Can someone point me in the right direction to it if so ?
