camera icon also showing when no photos are uploaded

Hello, someone installed a hack for me that shows a camera icon a in a persons profile and on the memberslist. When it is clicked it leads to the gallery of the member, to the photos he or she uploaded. Very cool... BUT the camera icons shows also for persons who didn't upload photos and my visitors reported that they are getting tired of clicking the camera icon and not finding any photos.

Can this be somehow changed so that it will only show a camera icon when a user HAS uploaded photos? How?
