Not bad, could use with a variety of colors instead of just two shade differences.

Also:

- you should align your header and buttons to center.
- the log in box down the bottom shouldn't really be in that right column. it looks out of place
- you have two hacks on there that are renowned for causing query loops and so high amounts of queries on index.php. you might want to check that out :)

The hacks im talking about are the Buddy Messenger and List sub-forums hacks

They have query loops :)

I'd remove them :)
