I would suggest against using a light-on-dark look. It's hard to read and is (IMO) unprofessional. Also make sure you don't have Times New Roman anywhere on the page; surround such text with either <normalfont> or <smallfont> tags.

light on a medium colour like blue.. or colours like that are fine though i guess
the Stargate online will be getting a default facelift in the next week thats why i'm asking this...

Not bad, I agree with what filburt said. Using the smallfont/normalfont tags will benefit you when you make font changes via Style settings etc.

First site:
- change those times new roman fonts
- like people have sed don't use light on dark
Second site:
- what a pointless use of flash. it could be done easier with rollovers :)

hey im admin at that site and the flash i believe is far smaller than a set of rollovers would be also it is far superior quality, we are hoping to change the forum style to match the new site here is a preview of the site
http://www.screencaps.sg-online.net do you think the colours would look nice on a forum?

If i had the time i would help. But i don't sorry :(
And it would be far less loading time with rollovers.
