ok hi

we are having problems with the threads on our board. basically once we get more than one reply to a post the thread's reply count stays at "1". It does this on the forum display and in the template mod i added to the threads.

This also appears to be making the forum home link to the last post error - "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster".

all the replies are showing in the thread. also when we update the counters everything gets updated to how it should be. (with the number of replies showing correctly and the forum home link working properly). However as soon as another reply occurs it errors again.

Boards: http://extremeentertainment.net/forums/

however you will have to register to view the board as we have made it member only.

please would someone help :(

LP (jh soundz)

edit: just to add on that weve rehacked last post title numerous times - and that does not appear to be the cause of error.

/\ you can use that to view the boards.

It has to do with newreply.php file (line 310-350), it doesn't update the counter.
Check the hacks you did there.

Check the templates you edited and make sure your using the correct variables in them. (Click view origional to see what they should be).

nah defo not templates - nout to do with them - that much im sure of

updates the stuff up to 1 reply then just stops updating the thread replies. i can update the counters to make it correct but once theres another reply it just stays on same number.

cud it be something like a mysql? because we moved our forums. (didnt move threads) .. but could this be the cause? and if so what would be the fix?
