HACK: Easier Adding of Multiple Smilies in AP (title & text-to-replace automatically filled-in)
BY: KuraFire [www.kurafire.com]
SUGGESTED BY: Xiphoid [creations.nl]
DESCRIPTION: Will automatically (optional) insert the smilie filenames in the Title and Text-to-replace fields when you add multiple smilies at once
DIFFICULTY: Easiest
INSTALL-TIME: 5 minutes
STEPS: 7
EXTENDED DESCRIPTION:
If you ever added like 20 to 50 smilies to your vB at once, you probably wished you could've just told the system to take the filenames as default Title as well as Text-to-replace, so that you wouldn't have had to insert them all manually, one by one. Well, with this hack you can! It gives you the option (defaulted to yes) to tell the script to take the filename, minus the .ext of course, and use that value (stripped from any non-alphabetical or numerical characters) for the Title field (where it will be ucfirst()'d, by the way) as well as the Text-to-replace field (with :'s surrounding the value). It's far more simple if you just see it work, of course :)
NOTE: you have to download the newest file attachment (from 3:10 PM CET!) if you want it to work on multiple pages. It became 7 steps (instead of 4), and take good notice of step 2 if you're 'upgrading' from the first release!
CURRENT ATTACHMENT CONTAINS THE INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE IT WORK WITH PAGINATION AS WELL! :)
Instructions are in the attachment :)
